BadgeOS Menu

badgeOS-menu.png

The menu for BadgeOS doesn't provide a lot of organizational guidance, so let's do that here by adding the red lines.

The top portion of the menu (everything except the last 5 items) are things that can be created. The first four items are Achievement Types, and they are maintained under the "Achievement Types" menu choice.

  • Guides and Seekers are two Role-based Badge types.
  • The sub-achievements are a way of marking a given achievement as a building block toward an Achievement.
  • The "Use Cases" is a set of examples of the ways a badge can be awarded. These are not intended to be included in any actual badges.

At the bottom:
The last five entries are "utilities" supplied by BadgeOS directly:

  • Log Entries - Shows running log of events that have occurred.
  • Settings - configuration of BadgeOS
  • Credly Integration - configuration of the integration with Credly
  • Add-ons - additional functionality (often at a price)
  • Help / Support
